Press Release Summary = Xlibris Author, Ron Uselton portrays in his book what its like to play Poker with your life at stake
Press Release Body = Sherman, Texas - A strange and diverse gamblers meet in the game of poker in a Vegas casino. Combine a New York ad man on his third strike, a young woman running from a treacherous past, an FBI agent with serious gambling issues, the would-be founder of the Las Vegas Greensox, and a big-bosomed black widow looking for unhealthy husbands; throw in Mikey "Don't Call Me Cheeso" Mozzarelli and his two unfortunate assistants, and you'll be all-in at a high stakes Texas Hold'Em table that will convince you that cards are war, disguised as a game.
You will find all these in Ron Uselton's Lost Vegas, a novel that focuses on the lives of a group of gamblers playing for the biggest game of their lives and for their lives as well.
Uselton said, "Although the characters are purely fictional, you might recognize a friend or two in the melee. You can\'t live in Sherman as long as I have without encountering a few zany folks."
Lost Vegas may be purchased directly through Xlibris Corporation or Barnes and Noble.com, Amazon.com, Borders.com or through Baker & Taylor and Ingram Book Distribution.
"The book," said Uselton, "has absolutely no redeeming literary value. It\'s also rated R for language (gangsters often use bad words). But, it\'s a fun read and I think people will enjoy it."
